Update

We had Joshua's physical therapy evaluation today & I guess he passed. He is behind but not enough to qualify for services through the same place that is doing his speech therapy. He did not do an OT evaluation after all. It was just going to be a bonus service if they had an OT available this morning. He doesn't show signs of being delayed in his fine motor skills, so I don't think they really need to do an evaluation for that. Joshua has loved going in for his evaluations. He goes to anyone who shows any interest in him. He reaches up for the therapists to hold him & he even gives them hugs & kisses. He can be so sweet! Of course, he also showed them his temper a bit too! He will start speech therapy sometime in the next month. It will be in our home, which will be wonderful. We are also trying to get he & I into a summer class to get him around other kids more. His pediatrician, a couple of speech therapists, and the physical therapist have all recommended that he spend more time with other kids. So, if any of you are looking for play dates, let me know!

I found out today that his EEG tomorrow should last around 35 minutes. Please pray that he will be still for that long & not pull the cap off of his head! If he doesn't cooperate, we will have to reschedule & he will have to be sedated....I would really like to avoid that. It will be the end of this week or early next week before we have the EEG results.
