Endured the EEG

Just wanted to let you Joshua made it through the EEG without kicking too much. They made me leave the room the entire time & put him in a papoose. Then they found out what I already knew...the papoose does no good on a stubborn 30 pound one and a half year old. He kept getting out of it. Somehow she managed to attach 23 electrodes to him & run a 45 minute EEG. She gave him suckers, blew bubbles, had cartoons on, and got some of her toys out for him. He did really well until the last minute. She finally let me come back in & I showed him one of his books with pictures of the family in it & he settled down for the last minute. He was so glad to get all of that stuff off of his head! Thanks to everyone who prayed that he would cooperate. I don't think his moments of kicking messed it up too badly. She said to expect the results in 3 days unless there is a major problem. In that case, we will be called today or tomorrow. We'll keep you posted.
