Neglected Blog!

My poor blog is very neglected these days....along with my house! I realized I never posted the following pictures on here. These were taken in October by our friend Megan at Trolard Imaging. These are a few of our favorites:

Here's a quick update on the boys:

Timothy is growing up too fast! He will be 6 months old in a couple of weeks! He loves to eat. He started solids a month ago & has loved everything so far. He usually starts crying about 15 minutes before the times I normally feed him baby food! He also got his first tooth about a week and a half ago. I think the next one will be here soon. He has always hated tummy time. He will lay his face down & cry (and spit up) everytime we put him on his tummy. I felt sorry for him & didn't do it often. So of course he couldn't roll over. About two weeks ago I got serious about tummy time & started rolling him over. Yesterday he rolled over by himself...both ways! He hasn't rolled from back to front again but everytime I put him on his tummy, he rolls to his back. So funny!

Joshua is also doing well. He seems to be enjoying preschool and his teachers say he has done incredible since he returned after Christmas. He has started to say some words occassionally. "No" is what we hear the most, but we have also heard mama, more, cool, & attempts at cold, llama, daddy, poppa, movie, & gulp. He even said "trouble" twice! He has a phonics/alphabet toy that has 10 modes of play. One of those modes asks you to spell words. Joshua has learned to spell several words, including car, jug, ogre, flower, elephant, dinosaur, zoo, pear, rose, monkey & yacht (I know, this toy has some random selections for words for a preschooler). It has the same game in Spanish & Joshua can spell several words in Spanish! Crazy! He is also down to only one seizure medication...after weaning him off of the ineffective one over a period of 2 years! Now he will only have to deal with side effects of one medication!

Wow... I am so proud of Joshua and Timothy! They are such sweet, happy boys. I can tell you which side of the family Joshua DIDN'T get his spelling skills from!!!
