And He's Off...

Timothy is 9 months old! I can't believe it! And boy is he going to keep me busy! He is happy, curious, and hilarious! He started "crawling" the day before he turned 9 months old. Its more of a scoot-crawl than an actual crawl...so funny to watch but it gets him around. He is getting faster at it & is now venturing from room to room. He is back to a major attachment to mommy & screams as soon as I am out of sight--even if I step behind him. Now he crawls after me crying. Its so sad! But it is nice to be loved so much!

He is so active that he hardly gained any weight since his 6 month check up. At 9 months, he weighs 21 lbs 10oz & is 29.25 inches long. I feel like he is so little....in case you don't recall, Joshua was 27 lbs at 9 months! Poor guy has had one cold/virus after another since Christmas I think, so his appetite has been a bit lacking but it seems to be returning! He ate more baby food tonight than I think he ever has. If only we could get that gag reflex under control! When he is all congested, it is worse & he gags hard enough to throw up. Hopefully the weather will stop changing so much & we can be done with colds & congestion for a while!

Look how tall he is! Reminds me of this picture of Joshua! Joshua was about a year older in that picture though.

"Look at me go!" This is in the middle of his scoot-crawl!

Out With the Old....

Shower that is! We spent most of the month of April without our master shower while having it redone. My pictures uploaded in reverse order, so here is the finished product:

We love the new shower!

Joshua loves it too! He really liked it during the 2 weeks after the tile was done but we were waiting on the new door to be installed.

Here is our old shower...we don't miss all of that white at all! After nearly 10 years, the grout was terrible! No more white tile or grout for us! We are also thrilled to get rid of the framed shower door! The down side - we will probably be selling next year! But, as HGTV says, bathrooms sell houses!

Timothy's Baptism

Thanks to everyone who said a prayer for us this morning! There were no meltdowns! I slept terribly last night because I kept having dreams that we were late & missed the baptism. Thankfully we were right on time. Both sets of grandparents were able to come. Joshua was more interested in playing chase than taking pictures :)

Shopping with Two

I still don't do well with shopping with both boys. I finally decided to start letting Joshua ride in the big part of the buggy if we go to Target. I can't buy much stuff but it is alot easier on me. Here is a picture from a Target trip during his spring break. That is an Elmo Easter basket....not an intended purchase but he HAD to have it! He started loving Elmo about a month ago. He saw that basket on the shelf & went nuts. He fussed when I took it from him to pay for it. Funny boy! On a side note, doesn't Timothy look thrilled?

These Days

Just now getting a minute to update. I am going to go ahead & tell you about this weekend in case you don't read all the way to the end :) Timothy will be baptized this Sunday so please say a prayer for us if you think about us. Joshua doesn't do well with waiting & standing still so we are hoping to make it through that 2-3 minutes without a meltdown!

Here are some pictures from the past few weeks:

Joshua has started therapeutic horseback riding! He hates the helmet so we practice at home with a bike helmet & large toy horse :) We really think the actual horseback riding will be very beneficial & fun for him!

While John & Joshua are gone, Timothy is the "man" of the house & therefore gets the remote. He doesn't seem to mind that the TV is off!
The mesh feeder is a hit! He does have a terrible gag reflex when food touches the back of his tongue, so any finger foods have been a diaster. He gagged so badly that he threw up 3 times! Got to work on this....please feel free to share any suggestions!
Belle tolerates Timothy pretty well, but I wouldn't say she likes him!

Note: I was having problems with the pictures uploading on this, so if you saw it before the pictures were here, you probably read some different stuff! I can't copy & paste, so I shortened to re-type due to a hungry fussy baby!
