This little guy is growing up way too fast! I can't believe he is already 7 months old! He is so much fun! He has been such a good baby. I realized in the last week or 2 that he really had me spoiled! He has been a great sleeper from the beginning...sleeping through the night by 6 weeks, and was up to sleeping 10-12 hours a night. Then something happened between 1-2 weeks ago & he decided to start waking up multiple times a night needing to be held. I think it has something to do with his newly developed mommy attachment! I really don't think Joshua was ever this attached to me. Timothy cries sometimes if someone else is holding him. John was getting him from me one night so I could cook dinner & he grabbed on to my hair. He cries if I'm not holding him. He has gotten a little better the last few days, and is sleeping better (only waking up once most nights & that is usually in the early morning). As you will see in the pictures below, he has now mastered sitting up. He has been sitting up for over a month, but early on he could only do it for a few minutes & would still tip over if he turned to look at something or reached for something. Now he sits all the time & hasn't tipped over in several days! He has also come to enjoy the pack-n-play (I am afraid to leave him in the floor if I'm not beside him because Joshua is clumsy & is likely to fall on top of him, or step on him!). He really is doing great, and we enjoy every second!

6 month Comparison
I took Timothy this week for his 6 month check up & for pictures. The older he gets, the less I think he looks like Joshua did at the same age. Here are some pictures of both of them at 6 months....even in the same outfit!

28 1/2 inches

Can You Believe It....
Timothy is 6 months old! It seems like we just brought him home! But then again, it is hard to imagine our family without him. He is such a sweet, happy baby! Even Joshua will shake his head "yes" if we ask him if he loves Timothy & if he wants to be friends with him. Of course, he still doesn't want much to do with him, and does not appreciate his wet little hands grabbing for him all of the time. And, we have alot of work ahead of us on sharing.
Here are some pictures of some of the things Timothy does that crack us up:

Practicing some new sounds. This was taken about a month ago. He has now moved on to vocalizing alot. Right now it is "da-da-da-da" all day long....love it :)

Neglected Blog!
My poor blog is very neglected these days....along with my house! I realized I never posted the following pictures on here. These were taken in October by our friend Megan at Trolard Imaging. These are a few of our favorites:

Here's a quick update on the boys:
Timothy is growing up too fast! He will be 6 months old in a couple of weeks! He loves to eat. He started solids a month ago & has loved everything so far. He usually starts crying about 15 minutes before the times I normally feed him baby food! He also got his first tooth about a week and a half ago. I think the next one will be here soon. He has always hated tummy time. He will lay his face down & cry (and spit up) everytime we put him on his tummy. I felt sorry for him & didn't do it often. So of course he couldn't roll over. About two weeks ago I got serious about tummy time & started rolling him over. Yesterday he rolled over by himself...both ways! He hasn't rolled from back to front again but everytime I put him on his tummy, he rolls to his back. So funny!
Joshua is also doing well. He seems to be enjoying preschool and his teachers say he has done incredible since he returned after Christmas. He has started to say some words occassionally. "No" is what we hear the most, but we have also heard mama, more, cool, & attempts at cold, llama, daddy, poppa, movie, & gulp. He even said "trouble" twice! He has a phonics/alphabet toy that has 10 modes of play. One of those modes asks you to spell words. Joshua has learned to spell several words, including car, jug, ogre, flower, elephant, dinosaur, zoo, pear, rose, monkey & yacht (I know, this toy has some random selections for words for a preschooler). It has the same game in Spanish & Joshua can spell several words in Spanish! Crazy! He is also down to only one seizure medication...after weaning him off of the ineffective one over a period of 2 years! Now he will only have to deal with side effects of one medication!

How Do They Compare?
People always ask me if Timothy looks like Joshua did at this age & if they are the same size etc. So, I finally found Joshua's stats (I know his baby book should be done but it isn't...thats a goal for 2011!). Here are some pics & stats. They uploaded in reverse order...sorry! No time to redo!
